THOUSANDS of women joined the fight against cancer by taking part in the Race For Life at Kings Links in Aberdeen.
Toddlers, teenagers and 20-somethings joined together with mums, grans, aunties, friends and workmates in a spectacular array of fairy wings, feather boas and fancy dress in every shade of pink imaginable.
A total of 4,500 women took part in the sell-out Cancer Research UK event – raising sponsorship money to fund vital research into the disease.
