POLICE have launched a probe after mindless vandals devastated a group of hard-working schoolkids by smashing a pizza oven they had built.
The group of 12 youngsters at Glashieburn Primary School in Aberdeen’s Bridge of Don had been working on the project for nearly three months. In addition to the clay oven, the yobs also smashed up a pirate ship in the nursery play area.
Headmistress Margaret Winton today said: “We are absolutely disgusted with the mindless vandalism. The children were absolutely devastated when we told them – they were extremely upset.”
