Suspended police officer faces rape accusation

GRAMPIAN Police are today investigating after a suspended constable was accused of rape.

The officer was already suspended in relation to his conduct while on duty when allegations surfaced regarding his off-duty conduct.

It is believed the police constable has been accused of rape earlier this year in Aberdeenshire. He has not been charged with any offence.
