Record number of passengers jet off from Aberdeen

RECORD numbers of passengers have jetted off from Aberdeen on holiday.

More than 6,300 travellers checked in at Aberdeen Airport ensuring it was the busiest day in its history.

Staff were well prepared to deal with the rush of passengers on the first day after schools closed for the summer break.
