COURAGEOUS North-east schoolgirl Olivia Downie today lost her battle with cancer.
The inspirational seven-year-old had been cared for at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital since she returned to Scotland on Wednesday.
Parents Lauren and Steven took their terminally-ill daughter to Tijuana in Mexico earlier this month.
But hopes faded for Olivia at the Hope 4 Cancer institute after treatment failed to work.
This morning her fight came to an end.
