Man on Aberdeen’s Union Bridge sparks alert

AN ABERDEEN city centre road was closed for just under an hour today after concerns of a man on a bridge.

Aberdeen’s Union Street, between Bridge Street and Market Street, was blocked off by police.

The man was standing on Union Bridge when emergency services were called to the scene at about 10.30am. He was talked down by police officers.
