ABERDEEN FC right-back Ryan Jack gave up the chance of a holiday extension to sweat it out at Pittodrie.
Manager Craig Brown today revealed Jack turned down the offer of an extra week’s break as he is so desperate to hit the ground running in the new season.
Instead Jack wanted to return earlier, which is why Brown is convinced he will burst into action when the season begins on Saturday, August 4.
