Pensioner falls down manhole in Aberdeen street

A MAN was taken to hospital after falling down a hole in an Aberdeen street.

The 75-year-old fell down a manhole in Byron Square.

The Scottish Ambulance service was called out to the scene just after 3pm yesterday. When the crew arrived the man had been taken to a nearby shop.

He was taken to ARI for treatment but he was not seriously hurt.
