A CANCER-STRICKEN girl today touched down at Aberdeen Airport.

Olivia Downie arrived back in the North-east this afternoon after doctors at her hospital in Mexico said she would be able to make the flight home.

The seven-year-old, who been battling an aggressive form of cancer called neuroblastoma, arrived home with her parents Lauren and Steven after a desperate battle to bring her back.
