NORA Ephron, the US writer behind the movie When Harry Met Sally, has died, aged 71.
She was also famed for writing and directing the hit film Sleepless in Seattle.
A former journalist Ephron, one of the most quotable and influential writers of her generation, had been battling leukaemia.
