TWO councillors today accused bus operator First Aberdeen of putting “pounds before people” after it announced proposed changes to its routes.

Aberdeen councillors Ian Yuill and Martin Greig have received complaints from residents over plans which could see evening and Sunday buses cancelled in the Craigiebuckler and Airyhall area.

However, Duncan Cameron, operations director at First Aberdeen, said the bus network does not accurately reflect customer demand at the moment.
