CHERYL Cole has been denied the top spot in the album chart after Justin Bieber stormed to number one with his new release Believe.
Cheryl’s latest album, A Million Lights, trailed in second place behind Justin’s third studio album.
Justin sold around 3,000 more copies than Cheryl’s latest hit, according to sales figures.
The sales secured Justin his first UK number one album.
Cheryl’s single Call My Name was also knocked off the top of the charts after just one week when Maroon 5 snatched the number one spot with Payphone.
The track became the band’s first UK number one single after racking up more than 141,000 sales.
