Colin Montgomerie to tee off at Donald Trump’s new golf course

GOLFING legend Colin Montgomerie is to tee up with Donald Trump for the opening of the tycoon’s course next month, the Evening Express can reveal today.

Scot Colin Montgomerie – Europe’s top golfer for seven years in the 1990s – will join Mr Trump at the New Yorker’s Menie Estate in Aberdeenshire.

Trump Organisation’s international development director George Sorial said there was a “buzz” about the Menie Estate as final preparations were made for the July 10 opening.
