Denis Law wanted to finish his career with Aberdeen FC

SCOTLAND and Manchester United legend Denis Law today revealed he wanted to finish his career with Aberdeen FC at Pittodrie – but was never asked.

Then at Manchester City, Aberdonian Denis Law retired after the 1974 World Cup at the age of just 34.

Denis said: “I would have loved to have finished my career at Aberdeen before I retired. But no one asked me.”
