George Yule in dreamland over Aberdeen FC role

GEORGE Yule today admitted he is in “dreamland” after being appointed as the new executive vice-chairman of Aberdeen FC.

Chairman Stewart Milne brought Yule in to spearhead Aberdeen FC’s efforts to move to a new stadium at Loirston Loch.

Yule, a life-long fan of the club, said: “It’s not so long ago since I was with the hard-core fans in the stands.

“I know how hard it has been for them to see the club not doing as well in recent times. I can promise them I will be doing all I can to help put that right.”
