ABERDEEN FC are confident they can cope with the sudden departure of major backers Aberdeen Asset Management.
Martin Gilbert and Hugh Little were on the board as representatives of the company, who were the club’s second biggest shareholders.
Gilbert, the company’s chief executive, was appointed as a non-executive director of Aberdeen FC in 1997. Little, Aberdeen Asset’s head of acquisitions, joined in November 2000.
