Willie Miller among five directors to step down
ABERDEEN FC today confirmed leading North-east businessman George Yule has been appointed executive vice-chairman.
Yule will take charge of Aberdeen FC’s efforts to move to a new stadium at Cove within the next two years.
Yule’s arrival coincides with news that five Aberdeen FC directors will be stepping down – including Gothenburg Great Willie Miller.
Ken Matheson and Chris Gavin go with immediate effect while Aberdeen Asset Management pair Martin Gilbert and Hugh Little will follow when the finance firm’s shares are transferred to other parties.
