RANGERS face being stripped of past honours if found guilty of giving players double contracts.

The SPL have confirmed a general meeting has been convened for Wednesday, July 4, when the 12 clubs will vote on whether newco Rangers can stay in the top flight.

The Ibrox club could also be stripped of all honours won between 2000 and 2011, which includes five SPL titles.
