Aberdeen hit with thunder and lightning

ABERDEEN was today hit with thunder and lightning as the long wait for summer-sun continued.

Forecasters predicted more thundery showers this evening, with maximum temperatures reaching 16C.

A Met Office spokesman said: “Temperatures in Aberdeen for the rest of the week will be floating around the 15 degrees celcius mark. Shower intervals each day until Friday.”
