Woodside won Amateur title for club stalwart Joe

WOODSIDE today dedicated their first Amateur Premier Division title win to long-serving secretary Joe McGunnigle.

The Aberdeen side celebrated their 50th anniversary in style by beating Westdyke 5-0 in their final match to clinch the championship.

Unfortunately, Joe, who is also well known in the North-east as an ardent member of the Tartan Army, missed Woodside’s biggest day.

He was in the USA cheering on Scotland during their friendly in Florida.
