‘Aberdeen FC has chance to force through change’
Former chief executive Keith Wyness claims top-flight clubs should say no to Rangers newco in SPL
FORMER Aberdeen FC chief executive Keith Wyness insists Scottish football should grasp the opportunity it currently has to force through change.
Wyness believes the top-flight clubs should say “no” to allowing a Rangers newco into the SPL, as the Light Blues look to recover from plunging into administration.
He said: “Aberdeen FC and the rest of the SPL teams should only think long-term. If they allow a newco Rangers in, given all they have done, they would damage the credibility of the league.”
