Sentence cut from three years to four months

A TEACHER jailed in Dubai after being convicted of having gay sex in public has won his appeal, the Evening Express can reveal today.
Findochty man Paul Brandt, 29 – who has staunchly protested his innocence – will soon be free after an appeal court slashed his three-year sentence to four months.
Speaking exclusively to the Evening Express today from Dubai’s Central Prison in the desolate Al Aweer desert, Mr Brandt, whose conviction still stands, said: “I am thrilled.”
