Doctor Who’s Karen Gillan lifts Scottish Fashion Icon award
Actress leads way at Scottish awards

DOCTOR Who actress Karen Gillan led the way as designers, models and stars from stage and screen took to the red carpet to celebrate the best of Scottish fashion.
The Inverness-born performer – who also played the role of supermodel Jean Shrimpton in the BBC drama We’ll Take Manhattan earlier this year – took centre stage at the Scottish Fashion Awards at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow.
She was named Scottish Fashion Icon during a glittering ceremony hosted by Alexa Chung.
Other stars of the small screen walking the red carpet included Made In Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh, television personality Lizzie Cundy and Sugababe Jade Ewen.
Tali Lennox, daughter of Annie Lennox, took home the Scottish Model of the Year prize for a second consecutive year
