4,000 line Union Street to watch Celebrate Aberdeen parade
Thousands flock to watch procession
AROUND 4,000 people braved dreich conditions on Saturday to watch the Celebrate Aberdeen parade.
People involved with the parade didn't let the wet dampen their spirits as they dressed up in a range of costumes including blue penguins, Tigger and incredibly intricate oriental costumes.
Past and present members of Aberdeen University Officers Training Corp (OTC), who were celebrating the regiment’s 100 year anniversary, led the parade.
