‘Aberdeen FC replaced Arnason with Rae months ago’

ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today insisted he moved to replace Kari Arnason in January – with Scotland cap Gavin Rae.

Arnason, whose contract expired at the end of the season, rejected a new deal with Aberdeen FC at the turn of the year.

The Iceland international has now penned a two-year contract with English League Two side Rotherham United.
