RUSSELL Brand used his recent divorce to fuel his comedy as he hosted the 2012 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.
The comedian who announced his split from pop star Katy Perry in December, told the audience: “Last time I did an MTV show I ended up marrying someone. Tonight I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for my next wife.”
The Hunger Games was the big winner of the night, taking home four awards including best female performance for Jennifer Lawrence, and best male performance for Josh Hutcherson.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 took home the movie of the year award.
