Row over picture on Yes Scotland website
SNP campaign accused of ‘digital manipulation’
Published: 04/06/2012
INTERNATIONAL actors rather than Scottish voters have been pictured on the Yes Scotland website to promote independence due to a campaign blunder.
Organisers of Yes Scotland faced embarrassment after Richard Baker – Labour MSP for North-east Scotland – said the campaign for an independent nation had used “clip-art actors from overseas”.
The Yes Scotland campaign was also accused of using “digital manipulation” software to make the actors appear to be wearing “Yes” badges.
