THE Welsh dragons are confident they can extinguish Scottish dreams of making the next World Cup finals.
Aberdeen FC and Wales keeper Jason Brown believes they showed enough in their 2-0 defeat against Mexico in New York to suggest they can get ahead of Scotland when the two home nations battle it out in Group 1 for the right to be in Brazil.
“The trip to the USA was more beneficial to us than it was to Scotland,” said Brown, who was praised for his performance after making a series of outstanding saves against the Mexicans.
