Aberdeen Beach left littered after warm spell

BOTTLES, barbecues and even a shopping trolley have been left on Aberdeen Beach by revellers enjoying the sun.

And residents soaking up the last of the good weather today said they were “disgusted” by the mess.

And doing his bit to clear up the trash left over the weekend was volunteer Michael Ford, who lives in Torry.

The 50-year-old, who had been out collecting bags of rubbish from Aberdeen beach since 5am today, said: “It was terrible this morning when I first arrived, I’ve cleaned eight bags of rubbish already – I was disgusted.”
