Safari park lions are ice cool

LIONS have made a splash at a safari park, thanks to efforts to keep them cool.

Staff at Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park, near Stirling, gave the lions balls of ice to eat and turned on a sprinkler to shower them in cold water.

And the lions might need more of the same treatment, as forecasters said the unseasonably fine weather was due to continue today and into the weekend.
