Cheryl Cole could become judge on American Idol

CHERYL Cole has reportedly been asked if she would like to join the American Idol judging panel.

Producers of hit show American Idol are said to have contacted Girls Aloud singer Cheryl, who would either join Jennifer Lopez on the panel or replace her.

Jennifer Lopez has hinted that she would like to pursue other projects.
