A YEAR ago former Aberdeen FC star Chris Maguire had the world at his feet following the goal of the season and a Scotland call-up.
Now the striker has the weight of the world on his shoulders after being put up for transfer by Derby County.
Maguire still has two years left on his Rams contract but is deemed surplus to requirements after failing to make an impact at Pride Park. If ever there was a cautionary tale against being lured to the big money down south, Maguire’s is it.
