Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie reunited for animated film

Actors to work on film based on Oscar Wilde work

STEPHEN Fry will be reunited with comedy partner Hugh Laurie in a new animated film based on a work by Oscar Wilde, it has been announced.

The British actors, who have collaborated on numerous projects including 1990s television hit Jeeves and Wooster and sketch show A Bit Of Fry And Laurie, are to both star in an adaptation of Wilde’s short story The Canterville Ghost.

It is the first time Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie have worked together in more than 13 years, according to the feature film’s producers.

Stephen who met Hugh at Cambridge University, will play the title character in the film, which is being partly funded by the BFI Film Fund. It is due for release over Christmas 2014.
