Masson’s debut for Aberdeen FC was highlight

JAMIE Masson was today promised he will get the chance to stake a claim to become Fraser Fyvie’s first-team successor.

Masson’s first top team start for Aberdeen FC, in left of midfield, was the highlight of an otherwise forgettable 2-1 SPL defeat by Hibs.

Manager Craig Brown admitted the teenager did enough to convince him he’s ready to push for a more permanent place in his top team plans.
