Scarlett Johansson celebrates star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

SCARLETT Johansson has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 27-year-old actress appeared at the ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard with her Avengers Assemble co-star Jeremy Renner.

Scarlett Johansson took to the stage in front of the Madame Tussauds wax museum on the famous Los Angeles strip and thanked her family, friends, fans and colleagues.

Ana Martinez, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer, said: “We are thrilled to honour an actress who has graced the screen and stage since she was eight years old.

“Over the past 18 years Scarlett has matured into a recognised cinematic presence with an impressive body of work.”

Scarlett Johansson, wearing a figure-hugging 1950s-style dress, posed for pictures with the star and waved to her fans.

And she wasn't afraid to get down on the pavement to place her hands on the plaque.
