‘I hope players choose Aberdeen FC over cash’

CRAIG Brown today claimed he is ready to fight to persuade summer transfer targets to choose Aberdeen FC over money.

The Aberdeen FC boss has targeted Inverness Caley Thistle’s Jonny Hayes and has contacted the Jags and the winger’s agent.

Brown has also admitted interest in Falkirk striker Farid El Alagui. Brown hopes the club’s reputation and his ambition for next season can convince signing targets to turn their backs on bigger wages in the English lower leagues.
