ONE of Scotland’s busiest airports is on the brink of being sold.
BAA has struck an £800 million deal to sell the Edinburgh complex to the owner of the Gatwick and London City airports.
Global Infrastructure Partnership has beaten competition from a consortium led by J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
BAA was ordered to sell either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
