CRAIG Lawrie will tee off the North-east challenge at the Scottish Boys Championship at Murcar Links.
The Robert Gordon’s College pupil, whose father Paul was at The Masters at Augusta, will be on the first tee at 7.41am on Monday
Scratch amateur Craig faces Scott Finlay, of Liberton, in the opening round.
Craig has just returned from helping Deeside represent Scotland at the Junior Team Home Nations International at Antequera Golf Club.
The 16-year-old lost by one hole in the third round to Kilmarnock’s former Scottish Boys’ Strokeplay winner, Jack McDonald, in his first attempt in the tournament at Dunbar last year.
Fellow Deeside team-mates Benjamin Henderson (6), Jamie Pryde (3) and Lewys Anderson (4) are also in action after returning from the Costa del Sol.
Benjamin will tee-off just after 11am against Alistair Thurlow, of Murrayfield.
Jamie will be up with the larks for his 7.25am tee-time on Tuesday, while Lewys will take on Rory Asher, of Nairn, at 11.09 the same day.
