X Factor success for Aberdeen singer

AN ABERDEEN woman is hoping to sing her way on to the next series of The X Factor.

Former Aboyne Academy pupil Karla Rae, 22, auditioned for The X Factor in Glasgow and was thrilled when she was picked to move through to the next stage.

The 22-year-old who works in Aberdeen, said she was also chosen to be filmed for The X Factor programme.
