CAMPAIGNERS against Aberdeen’s City Garden Project today slammed the referendum as unfair and misleading.
The poll last month showed 52% of the city supported plans for a revamp of Aberdeen’s Union Terrace Gardens that will bring green space level with Union Street and connect through lower levels with Union Square.
Friends of Union Terrace Gardens chairman Mike Shepherd made the claims at a meeting of Aberdeen City Council discussing a report on the referendum by chief executive Valerie Watts.
