Backing for clubhouse and car park at Trump golf course

PLANS for a clubhouse and car park on tycoon Donald Trump’s Menie Estate golf course should be approved, planning chiefs have recommended.

More than 820 objections to the championship golf resort at Menie Estate in Balmedie were received by Aberdeenshire Council’s planning department.

But head of planning Robert Gray has backed the plans and councillors on the Formartine area committee will discuss the plans at their meeting on Tuesday.
