Tycoon welcomes £10 million airport scheme

DONALD Trump today backed the go-ahead for a runway extension at Aberdeen Airport.
New York tycoon Mr Trump welcomed the decision by owner BAA to spend £10 million adding another 406ft (124m) to the northern end of Aberdeen Airport’s runway.
Mr Trump, who is building a £750m golf resort at Balmedie, said the extension would boost tourism by making the region more accessible.
