MY BETTER half and a friend had been scrubbing their flat all day and asked me to help after work.
Afterwards we were all in need of a good feed and Heavenly Pizza’s menu caught our eye.
My partner went for feta instead of mozzarella, along with mushrooms and olives on an ultra thin base (£8.95), whereas I opted for a thin base with barbecue chicken, feta and jalapenos (£8.95) – with a special request of Tabasco splashed on top. I ripped through the slices which had just the right amount of toppings and cheesiness, and I poured garlic mayo (80p) on top to quell the chilli – and I enjoyed every bite.
Our pal opted for the 9” Ultra Apollo pizza (£7.95).
With pepperoni, onions and green peppers the compact pizza vanished in minutes and was lauded with high praise from the connoisseur – the best pizza she’d had in Aberdeen.
For £22.20 we were all sufficiently satisfied and were at last able to put our feet up after a long day.
