Man denies embezzling almost £80,000 from Aberdeen bank

A MAN has denied embezzling almost £80,000 from a care home and an Aberdeen bank.

Lyall McRobb, 68, was charged with embezzling £78,296.14 from Balmedie House and the Royal Bank of Scotland in Golden Square, Aberdeen, between December 26, 1996 and July 25, 2007.

McRobb, whose address was listed as 9 Crollshillock Place, Newtonhill, was to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court tomorrow.
