ABERDEEN’S biggest concert venue was today being sued after a teenager was crushed by a forklift truck at the venue.
Craig Gellie, of Aberdeen’s Sheddocksley, shattered his pelvis in four places and fractured his spine.
He was working at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference when the accident happened in June, 2007.
At the time, Mr Gellie – who was then 17 – claimed the Aberdeen car park was riddled with potholes and when he applied the brakes, the truck toppled over.
Today the Gellie family declined to comment after the young man filed his case against AECC at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
An AECC spokeswoman said they would not be discussing the case.
