AN ABERDEEN man who sliced his partner’s neck with a knife after a drunken row has been jailed for six months.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard William Devine grabbed the blade and made a “sawing motion” on his girlfriend’s throat after getting drunk on whisky at home.
Blood was said to be trickling down Lisa Norrie’s neck as she sealed herself in the bathroom to call police.
Devine, whose address was listed in Aberdeen Sheriff Court papers as 79 Deer Road, Woodside, admitted the assault.
