Video: Rubbish found at Aberdeen site as Travellers move out

TRAVELLERS have finally abandoned their unauthorised camp at Aberdeen beach – and piles of rubbish have been dumped at the site.

There was fury when about 30 caravans and a number of trailers parked on a grassy area between Aberdeen’s Kings Links golf course and the Linx Ice Arena last week.

The area, owned by Aberdeen City Council, is often used by Aberdeen Football Club as a training pitch and by a number of cricket teams.
