Aberdeen FC new signing taking a big gamble

Nikola faces permit D-Day in Glasgow

MONTENEGRO defender Nikola Vujadinovic has risked being frozen out of football in the hope of playing for Aberdeen FC.

We can also reveal Aberdeen FC boss Mark McGhee has persuaded Italian club Udinese to continue paying all of the 24-year-old’s wages if his move to Pittodrie is given the all-clear on Monday.

Vujadinovic had to sign a loan agreement with the Dons before the transfer window closed on Monday, despite the fact they have yet to receive a work permit for the player.

McGhee will attend a tribunal in Glasgow on Monday to argue for a permit but admitted it’s not certain they will get clearance to play Vujadinovick.

I wish Josh Magennis would shut up,thats 3 times you have come out and said what you are going to do to them and them. Give it a rest for the love of God and open your gob when youve scored 15 goals or so on. We had to put up with listening to this nonsense every week last season from so called strikers. Now you are up to it.Just shut up.

Calm down Colin, he's one of our players remember, he's not the enemy. I for one think the boy looks good. Okay, he's not scored yet, but he's shown plently of strength and energy. He's hit the bar and been unlucky not to score. I think once he gets a couple he'll start banging them in. I really hope this Montenegran fellow gets his work permit, I think he could really make a difference to the team.

Dont talk nonsense anyone can talk a good game. Agree he has played well, but its the same thing we read all the time what they are going to do. HOw many did he score at Cardiff? You never heard Frank Macdougall,Eric Black and so on come out with what they were going to do. They just went out and did it.

Slightly confused to see comments about the ability of Magennis on a story about a possible (and much needed) new signing for the Dons! He sounds decent - and it's great that he won't cost us any wages - just hopes he gets the work permit. One point, Montenegro are a small country so how come he's never had a cap?

Why;s that then mister only pointing out what garbage our so called strikers keep coming out with season after season. If you look at statstistics(thats not too big a word for you to understand is it)over the last few seasons our so called strikers average scoring is about 5th worst in uk,not just Scotland. I bet you and your half pint of lager is getting all excited now that he is going to start banging them in. Its you who needs to take the tablets chum. I bet you he dont get 6 all season..

Love it, if you want to insult someones intelligence in a discussion, you have to get your spelling spot on. The word is statistic, not statstistics. Anyway, on topic, a free defender for the season should be good, if he's good.

colin the difference between magennis and black is Eric Black is one of the best strikers Scotland produced in the 80's, when Aberdeen (and scotland) had better teams. Magennis is a young player who until recently was a goalkeeper...for you to judge him after three games is way off the mark....and to compare him to pklayers who played for the best dons team ever is harsh. you obviously like to bump your gums, but keep it to yourself, no one is listening. I hope this guy at left back is decent because considine ain't a full back.
