THE Princess Royal has formally opened the Suttie Centre for Teaching and Learning in Health Care, a £21 million state-of-the-art centre for teaching medical students at Foresterhill, Aberdeen.

On a tour of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Princess Anne officially opened the centre by unveiling a plaque in front of guests, including NHS Grampian chairman David Cameron.

Students showed the Princess Royal how they train with cutting edge technology, including computer-controlled body simulators and 3D visualisations.
