Woman fights for life after Aberdeen fire

A WOMAN was this afternoon fighting for her life after a suspicious fire at an Aberdeen home.

The victim, in her 40s, was today taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary suffering from smoke inhalation.

And she was understood to be in a critical condition at the Aberdeen hospital.

Emergency crews were called to reports of a fire in Aberdeen’s Torry area around 2.30am today.

The fire broke out at a property on Balnagask Road, in the city’s Torry area.
